Today in a nutshell
- We have a bunch of people in my department that are on vacation or off for other reasons so I have a very heavy workload today.
- It is one coworkers last day before her 3 1/2 week “vacation” that she takes every year. She stays at home, but takes all of her PTO at once so we basically have to reassign all her cases to ourselves. It is no fun.
- Trying to walk away from my computer for a minute at a time to pack because…
- At 5pm, I’m riding with Jake to Baton Rouge. Not really what I wanted to do this weekend, but he has to go in for another class for a ticket he got, and his friend is having an engagement party, so he requested that I join him.
- Besides seeing his friends, I am only planning on seeing Alena, Lauren, and Erin to give them some presents I got them and maybe help with some bridesmaid dress selections

Have I ever mentioned that Dan from Real World Miami is one of my friends? I mean it’s got to be true because we both gave a thumbs up in this picture while side-hugging.
This just made me LOL. My cousin just posted it on fb with the caption “One of the major disadvantages of being so tall.”
I just love how creepy she looks back there.
Also - she doesn’t know these 2 girls. She went to one of my brother’s gigs and this was a picture in an album from it. Hilarious!
