Exaggerations

Friday night, I went bowling with a group of about 10 people. We split into two lanes and had a carefree time. Well, we start to notice that my roommate Rhonda is dominating everyone. She had the highest score by far. I started to remember that her brother and her dad play on leagues and maybe she has had more practice then everyone. I started to let everyone know about this little secret of hers. Then she rolls 2 strikes in a row. Now I am telling everyone that she comes from a “bowling family” and she was born for this. After her 4 strikes in a row, I start exclaiming that she comes from a bowling DYNASTY!!! It was funny, because everyone believed she was huge into bowling and that she must practice all the time, when in truth, she hadn’t played in 2 years and has never played on a league (that I know of). So if anyone is reading this that I exaggerated her past to - her parents also did NOT meet in a bowling alley, or conceive her in one.
