My high school had a pretty crappy drama department. We had no real stage so we used risers and put them in the cafeteria for our annual productions. This was my sophomore year’s production of Camelot. Drama was 95% females, so most of the knights were played by girls. I am the knight standing in the back next to the girl in the blue dress. Yes, I had a singing role. Yes, I had to sing like a man. Yes, I had to draw in a beard and mustache.

This is one of my favorite memories.
